Eight miles, the furthest yet
Worth waiting for the watch
In the end I didn't run in the early morning. I had ordered a running watch and knew it was arriving today, so I pushed the session back a few hours to wait for it. It was definitely worth it.
Not only could I see my distance, pace and time far more easily, I actually managed to get the run onto Strava too.
I wore the running vest with the water bottles in, and used the time on the watch to take a gel every half an hour.
It was 20°C, cooler than last time, but still challenging.
The watch solved the problem the phone created. Distance, pace and time on my wrist instead of fighting a screen in my pocket, the run went to Strava without a fight, and having the time in front of me meant I could fuel to a schedule rather than guess. Water on board, a gel every half hour, eight miles done — the furthest I have ever run.

Every recorded run lands in the run history, newest first, and stays there.
